Steph already posted about it here but i thought I’d clarify exactly what the project idea is.
I’m calling the project “A Pack of Lives”.
When it comes to life cigarettes are there for some of the best and worse times of man. In movies they were used as an after sex device all too often. Sometimes after a heated battle in war a soldier would smoke a cigarette. Cigarettes can always be there with people because of the ease of use, one cigarette could tell a heck of a story. I’m not specifying what you write about but just that it involves a cigarette. Just one. The story could have nothing to do with the cigarette at all but just that the character is smoking one. It could be about how the character acquired the cigarette. It could be the thoughts of a cigarette. It doesn’t matter. Each story would be about someone or thing completely separate from the others. The idea is the tell enough stories that the number of cigarettes would equal the amount in a pack, 20. Each story would be short, from a paragraph to max of a page. As long as you feel your story is told, you don’t have to write anymore then you want.
Like steph said, would like to have all to be done within a month. Not sure what to do with the completed project, i have some ideas but not completely sure.
So a lot are already contacting steph about it, thats cool contacting her basically guarantees I’ll get it too.
